I grew up in a small town in the beautiful state of New Mexico alongside my sisters. Later, I attended UNM, where I met my husband and many of our lifelong friends. Though both my upbringing and young adult years were filled with immense joy, many of my experiences and memories were clouded by an ever-deepening sense of anxiousness. And, just before the birth of my first child, I hit rock bottom.

It was through that experience that I found a community of individuals in active recovery from panic disorder. Suddenly, the feelings that I had struggled with were validated, my sense of purpose defined, and Label Me Amie was born.
